came across these portraits of musicians made from recycled cassette tapes. pretty sweet.

mozy on down.

so i just realized that i live super close to this gem of a place. mozy is the most amazing little cafe, right on the 101 off of leucadia boulevard...they have wonderful acai bowls, and you gotta try the tropical burrito. soo yummy. and, its super cheap too. i could eat here every day! (oh wait, i do)

sun is always brighter.

so a few weeks ago, my roomates and i saw this singer/songwriter perform at the casbah in san diego. (a really cool venue i must add) i have to say, his music is pretty rad. he's got a whole lot of soul, and has a really cool folk sound that i'm totally into. check him out.
